Scar Revision

Procedure Length: 
Usually between one and three hours depending on degree of scar(s).
Side Effects: 
Swelling, bruising, temporary bleeding, redness, discomfort, and some pain.
Recovery: 
Scabs should fall off within two weeks. Sutures are removed after one week. You should be able to return to normal activities after one week.
Risks: 
There are rare possibilities of infection, bleeding, and little improvement to scar.
Results: 
Results may vary but usually take up to one year for results to show.
